In order to supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the school, each and every educational organization must have a dedicated body called as School Management Committee (SMC). The body puts together rules and regulations known as SMC guidelines to streamline various procedures and activities within the school, right from admission policy to the welfare of students and teachers. The committee possesses the authority to regulate the rates of tuition fees and other annual charges and also review the budget of the school presented by the Principal.
The SMC guidelines structured by School Management and Development Committee (SMDC), SMC evolve both short-term and long-term programs for the improvement of the institution whilst ensuring that the norms given in the Act of the State and by the CBSE/ICBSE regarding terms and conditions of service and other rules governing affiliation of the school are strictly followed. In addition, the guidelines guide the Principal to maintain order and discipline in the school.
